I have been home brewing for almost a year now and I still go to this book more than any other book I have on the subject. From the Hop charts to grain/malt descriptions, bottling and kegging... this book has it all. As a beginner, I found this book to be the #1 resource, and now that I have evolved into all-grain beers, I find myself using this book more and more. Of all the home brew book I have purchased, this remains my #1 pick!

It's an easy read and the mantra of the book "Relax and have a home brew" could not be more true. When you start to freak out about an ingredient you are late to add, or if your temperature goes a little off for a bit, "Relax and have a home brew!" I have made some major mistakes on a few batches so far, and yet every beer has turned out great.

One thing I have learned is that home brew is a very easy process, and if you have the help of a friend, it's a VERY enjoyable hobby.
