I bought this because it was recommended by Cooks Illustrated and wasn't as expensive as their first choice. It works great, but after using it a lot over the last week, there are already two nicks in the side. I'm sure I did something to cause them, but I was hoping it would avoid nicks for a while. I bought my last spatula from Pampered Chef about 10 years ago and it seemed to fare better. Also, when I put this one in the dishwasher, it comes out with a white film on the blade. It wipes off, but it's a little annoying.
